the Mathematics and Informatics Faculty from the Babes-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca.
The course presentation and registration for selections will take place in a

November 26, 2007 - Total Specific Solutions (“TSS”) acquires Nethrom.
TSS last week acquired the shares of Comprove b.v.. Comprove owns 100% of the shares of Nethrom.

This acquisition will strengthen the position of Nethrom on the outsourcing market and will position it better for future expansion. Nethrom is committed to continue to serve its existing customers and to expand its range of services.

We congratulate our colleagues who came first in the national "Microsoft Imagine Cup - Software Design" competition. We wish them good luck in August, when they will compete in the World Finals!

November 2006 - Nethrom has launched a web application called Networker Shop at Info & Office Fair
During the Info&Office Fair organized by Expo Transilvania between November 16th - November 19th 2006, Nethrom has launched a web application called Networker Shop
for designing presentation sites and virtual shops. By offering the
possibility of picking up articles directly from the database
administration of Networker ERP, this product is mainly designed for
our customers who want to extend their activity on the Internet. The
application is available and independent, allowing any company to
easily create and maintain their own product presentation site or their
own virtual shop.
October 2006 - Chess contest
On the 27th of October the internal chess championship takes place. Good luck to the participants!
October 2006 - A new Progress training
Because Nethrom is expanding again, a new training will start after only one month from the ending of the previous training. The course has 16 participants and it focuses on the enterprise applications development with Progress technologies.
October 2006 - Nethrom has sponsored a team at the Romanian Rally Championship
Nethrom has sponsored the team made up by Ferenti Iosif (pilot) and Alexandru Popidan (co-pilot) at the Romanian Rally Championship from October 14th 2006. The team that we sponsored has won the second prize at the A 1.6 class.
September 2006 - Nethrom at the Progress Technology World
Nethrom participated as a sponsor at the Progress Technology World conference, held in Athens on September 10-12, 2006. Nethrom also launched there our new framework "projapi" for developing Ajax rich client web applications with Progress technologies.
August 2006 - The OAD application in the new OESDK framework
Nethrom continues the development of the OAD application through our partner Progress Professional Services, by using the new version of the development framework OESDK. This framework is based on Progress 10 object technologies.
July 2006 - New Progress course
Nethrom starts a new course for the Progress programming language. 12 people will take part in this course and we hope that most of them will remain employees of Nethrom.

June 2006 - NethFrame release
Nethrom finalizes a new version of the internal development framework Nethframe, based on the CSLA framework of Rockford Lhotka. NethFrame accelerates the development of applications built on .Net technologies, so that programmers can focus on the business side of the applications rather than on the technology part.
June 2006 - The ERP .NETWORKER package is functioning online for a new client.
We implemented the application for the company FABRICA DE TERMOPANE SRL, in a configuration that allows the client to link his branches from different cities to the headquarters based in Cluj-Napoca. For starters, 10 showrooms will be connecting with the headquarters online, and their number will extend along with the development of the company. The implementation is a proof of the scalability of our ERP package and of its versatility of functioning in various configurations (LAN or Internet).

May 2006 - New Progress OpenEdge technologies course
We have started a new training for Progress OpenEdge technologies, in view of supporting the teams that are working on these technologies. The course will last for 2 months.
May 2006 - Ajax Project
Nethrom finalized the first phase of a project based on Ajax / Java technologies built for a car dealers network in the USA. Ajax provides a user interface with advanced possibilities, under the conditions of an application that runs in the browser.
May 2006 - The Human Resources application of Nethrom is extending.
At the request of our client Sales Consulting, we have extended the Human Resources Application of Nethrom with new functionalities. This is not a classical HR application, it is one dedicated to the recruitment companies or to large companies with internal personnel recruitment departments.

For extending the CAD applications department, we have started an advanced training course for the C++ and OOP technologies, with 15 participants.

In collaboration with one of our Dutch clients we have started the development of a new business framework based on Microsoft technologies: .NET and MS SQL Server. The architecture is built on 3 levels and it includes the interface controles from Infragistics controls and the architecture based on the Lotka components.
